How to Get Started:
You must set up your mailbox the first time you use the U.S. Cellular
Message Center. To accomplish this, it will be necessary for you to complete
the online tutorial within the system to be able to set up your:
- Password (4 or more digits)
- Recorded name in the system
- Your personalized greeting
Access the tutorial from your wireless phone (while in your home
service area):
- Dial your 10-digit wireless telephone number + SEND
- Enter 9 + 9 + 9 + 9 (default password for accessing the tutorial)
- Follow the tutorial steps to set up your own password and greeting
When you have completed the tutorial and main setup above, you can access
your voice mailbox. After this point, the system will prompt you with
instructions for future operations and the tutorial will no longer be
required.
Accessing your voice mailbox in your home service area only:
From your wireless phone (in home service area):
- Dial your 10-digit wireless number + SEND
- Enter your password and follow the prompts
From a landline phone:
- Dial your 7-digit wireless phone number (within your wireless area
code) OR
- Dial your 10-digit wireless phone number (outside your wireless
area code)
- Press * to interrupt greeting
- Enter your password and follow the prompts
Accessing your voice mailbox from any other location:
From your wireless or a landline phone:
- Dial your 10-digit wireless phone number + SEND
- Press * to interrupt greeting
- Enter your password and follow the prompts
To Modify Your Greeting / Password / Recorded Name:
You can change your greeting / password / recorded name at any time.
- Access your mailbox.
- After accessing your mailbox, follow these instructions for each:
